The Faculty of Social Sciences at Somali National University is a leading educational institution that offers high-quality education and training in the field of social sciences. Established in 2020, the faculty has emerged as a prominent hub for students aspiring to pursue careers in journalism, political science, sociology, and social work.
With a team of highly dedicated and experienced faculty members, the department strives to create a dynamic and intellectually stimulating learning environment for students. Through innovative teaching methods and rigorous academic programs, the faculty fosters critical thinking, research skills, and ethical values among its students.
The faculty has now close to 750 students and 25 full-time academic staff, with part-time support from 25 lecturers.
